Job Summary:

The technical role manages the development, implementation and technical maintenance of business applications to provide financial, sales, legal and HR development support. Working closely with the SEW Corporate Controller and business leads (Finance, Sales, Operations, IT, Legal, Analytics and HR) supporting the European and North American Offices and Development Studios.

Supporting initiatives for all business systems operations involving all the corporate enterprise applications managed by the team and ensuring that all staff and support teams have received required business performance and customer satisfaction.

Being part of business systems process management, ensuring commitments are met in providing a high quality and cost effective business systems programme that meets the expectations of the company.

Requirements

Key Deliverables:

Development lead on all UBW related projects, system upgrades, updates and patches. Overseeing the installation; implementation; development; maintenance and support of the UBW system and other business supporting systems.

Technical lead of the Business Systems operations and change management strategy. Ensuring this meets the requirements outlined in JSOX and is coordinated across SEW. Contribute to organisational policy regarding quality standards and business operations across SEW.

Involved in decision making on all Business System hardware and software purchases.

Offering key business decision makers appropriate support and advice in business process development. Develop and design all 3rd party relationships involving Business Systems.

Work closely with Global ICT, ensure secure infrastructure and service support to all business users and that the back-up of business systems meets the agreed outlined Service Level Targets.

Technical and Operational lead in all areas around UBW. Supporting Group Finance and Accounting in monthly, quarterly and annual financial planning and operations. Specifically, on all aspects of new and existing processes and reporting for all offices.

Involved in integration developments with all corporate departments using business data to make decisions. Solution lead within Business App team for Database management of SEW business app services and data.

Provide the overall technical training and development strategy around UBW for SEW, including the mentoring of support teams and collaborating with 3rd party partners.

Key Stakeholders:

CFO, COO, Operations Directors and Controllers within SG&A, Accounting, Sales, IT, HR, Legal and Analytics across SEW.

Knowledge & Experience:

Essential:

Proven background in UBW Development, Management & Maintenance of v5.7/M7 upwards across a multi-client and location environment. 10 years+ using UBW in a development capacity.

Managing the underlying configuration of and experience in supporting the following UBW modules: System Admin, Common (Workflow, Modeller, Knowlys, Widgets and Forms,), Financials (Core, FIC, FAs and YE), Logistics(PO, SO, Product and Inventory Management), Planner and Resource Planning, Expenses, HR (Masterfile), PCB (Timesheet Management)

Developed and released solutions interfacing systems with UBW using EDI and/or ETL.

Managed a MS SQL environment and can create queries, views and stored procedures.

Excellent knowledge of MS SQL database as a developer at a DB Administrator level.

Desirable:

A very good grasp of accounting principles and sales concepts.

Knowledge of consolidation processes and integration with ERP solutions.

Understanding of working within industry-standard service management methods such as ITIL.

Aware of HR and Legal processes and policies.

Knowledge of Logistical processes specifically stock management within UBW.

Understanding of Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365.

Competencies, Skills & Attributes:

Essential:

Excellent technical operational and reporting skills, creating and managing solutions involving RESQL, Excelerators, ACT, AG16s, AMC, Mobile Apps, BIFs and other UBW products.

Strong strategic and commercial enterprise skills supporting the management team with service delivery solutions using UBW and other applications.

Working experience using SQL and Microsoft Data Server Tools like SSMS, Profiler, SSIS and SSRS.

Must understand and have experience utilising the concepts of Dara Warehouse and data organization management.

Continuously reviews business systems processes searching for improvements and a desire to find efficiencies and savings.

Desirable:

Used UNIT4 Financial Performance Management tool (EPM) - Prevero

Technical understanding of creating, managing and migrating ARC and Worderator reports

Utilising or awareness of using different project management solutions, such as PRINCE 2.

Keeping up to date with the latest technologies, such as cloud-based ERP environments and 2FA security.

A logical, flexible approach with an attention to detail.

Use of UBW Extension Kits, Webservices and Public REST APIs

Awareness of .NET framework / ML.Net techniques
