Purpose of the role
The Web and Business Systems (WBS) team is looking for a talented and enthusiastic developer to join our team. This is an opportunity to support Frontier by creating and managing line of business web applications, both self-hosted and SaaS, using DevOps and SRE methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for Application deliverables for WBS such as coding apps in C# or PHP, JIRA workflow creation, SaaS configuration, reporting and alerting using data via REST API/Graph QL
- Manage, document, test and support Frontier's growing portfolio of internal and SaaS business software
- Contribute to the specification and integration of 3rd party software with Frontier's corporate data
- Work with wider team and stakeholders, ensuring the smooth integration of new systems
- Integrate existing systems to improve and streamline business processes
- Set-up new internal hosted applications using Docker
- Configure new SaaS systems.
About You
- Programming experience in a strongly typed programming language (e.g. C#, PHP, JavaScript, Python)
- Experience of administering line of business (LOB) web applications (e.g., JIRA, Confluence)
- Experience of working with relational databases, such as SQL Server or MySQL
- Knowledge of Docker
- A good collaborator, able to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, and work collaboratively on supporting our business systems
- Curious with a good aptitude for learning and enjoy variety, with opportunities to work with a diverse spectrum of technologies and systems.
