Business Systems Analyst

Are you an intelligent, capable systems guru? Codemasters are looking for a Core Business Systems Analyst who will be the senior point of contact for the successful set up and day to day running of all core business systems in this 500+ strong technology business. This will include responsibility for the system-level administration, system maintenance, process and workflow to ensure best practice, compliance and cross-departmental information flow.
This role will also have an active role in developing the systems to further their benefit to the group, to include new functionality and add-value work to drive and optimise data utility within the company.
Your key stakeholders will be from various departments within the business, so you should have great communication skills with an eye for gathering the detail you need before driving implementation. We have a mix of legacy and new systems here, so it's a complex mix and a great challenge for the right person to get their teeth into.

Main duties and responsibilities:
- Responsibility for the day to day running of all the Core Business Systems.
- Development of these systems to further their benefit to the group.
- Project Management of major systems improvements within the CBS environment
- Engage with and sustain a good working relationship with key customers and 3rd party representatives, especially partners and support companies associated with the Core Business Systems
- To support the implementation of new systems or modules.
- Manage security within key business systems.
- Day to day management of electronic data interchange (EDI) to improve business processes and efficiencies and support in new developments in this area.
Experience:
- Substantial commercial experience with ERP systems such as SAP B1.
- Ideally knowledge of SAP Boyum
- Involvement with the running of integrated HR systems, such as Cornerstone
- Experience in devising procedures for problem solving within a complex systems environment
- Specification and building of Reports, including underlying DB queries.
- Must have first hand experience of at least one of our in-house business systems
Skills/Knowledge:
- Knowledge of ERP systems and their management or an integrated HR system including Absence management and ATS as well as Core HR data.
- Knowledge of basic accounting terminology, principles and processes in order to fully support the financial systems.
- Ability for learning and understanding the mechanisms for controlling complex integrated systems
Aptitudes/Attributes:
- Be able to take on jobs and tasks and complete them on budget, on time and to specification.
- Have a logical approach and be and able to work though problems in a methodical manner.
- Work well under pressure.
- Be able to work independently or as part of a team, and have a willingness to go the extra mile.
- Be able to communicate well in formal and informal situations
