Primary Functions
Linden Lab’s Trust & Safety - Payments Specialist plays a critical role in helping the company manage its distributions of payouts. You will be identifying areas for process improvements, leveraging those findings to help the company scale, and collaborate across many teams within the company to offer your knowledge as a data and process expert. You will support Tilia’s third party customers.
Responsibilities
- Analyze payout requests, assess risk and determine proper action; leverage data to help improve the tool.
- Help process weekly outgoing wires.
- Use Netsuite to bill Monthly invoicing Non-Profit and EDU accounts of and key accounts; resolve any billing or region acquisition issues.
- Manage Non-Profit and Educational Organization orders from initial order to billing, recurring billing and account closures.
- Coordinate with land ops teams for island delivery, billing coding, island takedowns, and any other land request.
- Leverage data using Tableau and other external and internal applications to improve understanding of customer transactions.
- Help build reporting dashboards to monitor key performance metrics.
- Use data and insights to analyze and inform strategic decisions.
- Respond to offshoot requests by pulling data, gathering information and resolving issues.
- Monitor usage stats to spot key trends and formulate recommendations for taking our products to the next level.
- Work with the Finance team on month-end close with Platinum account invoicing and weekly PayPal account Balance.
- Collaborate with Tools team and Trust & Safety team with Payout tool upgrades.
- Communicate daily with the Compliance and Trust & Safety teams with payout concerns with specific accounts.
- Work with the Data Warehouse Team to effectively populate reports with accurate information.
- Act as first point of contact for Tilia 3rd party client and develop and nourish client relationships.
- Coordinates resolution of Tilia service incidents and escalate, as necessary, to the appropriate internal stakeholder.

- Extremely high attention to detail and exceptional organization ability.
- Experience with visualization software (e.g. Tableau) to publish results from analyses.
- Effective written and oral communication skills, both technical and non-technical.
- Experience with database querying (e.g. SQL).
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Experience working with reports and searches in NetSuite.
- Experience driving analysis and insight from massive, complex datasets.
- Strong presentation skills and an aptitude for working in cross-functional teams.
- Proven achievements resulting from data analysis.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent academic training or experience.
Experience
- 2+ years of experience working in a product-driven, high-tech environment.
- Experience with visualization software (e.g. Tableau) to publish results from analyses.
- Experience driving analysis and insight from massive, complex dataset.s
