Business Operations Manager, Bilingual (Japanese/English)

Game Closure is on the hunt for a Business Operations Manager, located in our Tokyo office. We need someone who is a master multitasker, has fantastic communication skills, is available for travel and enjoys working with many teams.
We create social games that are played by millions of people every day on Facebook, Viber, LINE and other messenger platforms. We are a growing team with offices in Mountain View and San Francisco, California, Tokyo Japan and Seoul Korea. Oversee facilities management of Game Closure Asia-Pacific
- Coordinate and manage the search for a new Tokyo headquarters
- Project management of office relocation project
- Manage and scale the Korea office
- Find and manage high-quality, cost-efficient vendors
- Continually evaluate corporate housing options and scale offerings as the company grows
- Supervise Tokyo part-time office manager
Asia-Pacific contracts and partnerships management
- Serve as a point of contact for partners in Japan and Korea, liaise between internal product teams, operations and platform/content partners such as LINE Corporation
- Project manage agreements with business partners as requested, collecting guidance and feedback from intra-company stakeholders and the leadership team
- Draft and file local supplier contracts
- Occasional translations or interpretation, including with external partners
Asia-Pacific business operations
- Inbound invoices processing
- Expenses control
- Documentations filing
- Ensure compliance and operational efficiency
- corporate filings, tax, registration related
- manage staff employment and insurance documentation w/government
- visa application support
- handle equipment requests and track inventory
Desired Skills
- Undergraduate degree from a top-tier program (English-language preferred)
- Graduate degree in business, accounting, finance, law or related professional field (preferred)
- Must have fluent spoken Japanese, including good level of formal office manners
- Must have business-level proficiency in spoken English
- Business-level proficiency in spoken Korean a HUGE plus
- Clear and structured fluent written communication in all languages
- Smart, calm, autonomous, discrete
- Comfortable working in an unstructured, high-growth environment
- Self-sufficient, able to grow and develop with the role
- Strong office software skillset (we use the Google suite), tech-savvy
