Who We Are:


2K develops and publishes interactive entertainment globally for console systems, handheld gaming devices and personal computers, including smartphones and tablets. 2K is a leading publisher of today’s most popular gaming genres and most well-known for critically acclaimed game franchises like NBA 2K, WWE 2K, Bioshock, Borderlands, Evolve, XCOM and the beloved Sid Meier’s Civilization.

NBA 2K is developed by Visual Concepts under license with the NBA and is one of the industry’s top titles having sold more than 90MM units worldwide since its launch in 1999. Its latest release is highly anticipated every year and available across console, PC, mobile platforms. The NBA 2K brand is well-known not only a gaming phenomenon, but also increasingly a lifestyle and culture icon year-round.

This role is part of the NBA 2K Commercial Operations team that is responsible for the P&L, its business strategy, and its operations globally. We partner across the organization through influence and relationships to orchestrate a unified, effective, and scalable effort. At any given moment we are the supporter, leader, approver, and/or responsible party with other internal and external teams.


What We Need:


We are seeking to increase focus on our pricing and promotions efforts. You are a highly analytical, structured problem-solver and data-driven decision maker. You work very well with colleagues across functions, geographies, and skillsets to orchestrate and communicate a coherent strategy and execution for our pricing and promotional strategies and tactics. You enjoy looking at the big picture and then translating that to specific approaches that you analyze and iterate on to improve. You are great at telling a thoughtful story to describe and evangelize your view while welcoming and incorporating feedback from stakeholders. You enjoy structuring an ambiguous and complex problem and testing-and-learning from hypotheses. You have a background in pricing and experience with creating effective processes and teamwork.


What You Will Do:

You will partner with Sales, Channel Marketing, Finance, and Analytics to devise and orchestrate effective and ever improving pricing and promotion strategy and tactics across the world based on empirical data, insightful analysis, thoughtful execution, and powerful, innovative ideas.
