Business Engagement ManagerSummary
The Business Engagement Manager works to drive and support key projects and strategic initiatives to ensure they are successfully implemented, tracked, and closed out. The role will support D&D throughout the lifecycle of multiple projects, to ensure all internal information is provided, to track progress of the deliverables, to ensure the project is delivered on-time and within scope. You will guide the relevant teams throughout the project and communicate status and dependencies to stakeholders. You will also coordinate the project delivery process to ensure smooth and on time delivery of key business objectives.
This is position will be partnering across the D&D Leadership Team of our land-based business. Providing generalist support across all areas of D&D to drive to continuous improvement and alignment across all practices both operational and strategic. We’re looking for a passionate individual who can consider the needs of the whole enterprise and play a multitude of roles: serving as a streamliner for the VP of Platforms; as an integrator connecting work streams and initiatives across the enterprise; and as a communicator linking the leadership team and the broader organization.What you'll do
- Manage deliverables – including liaising with stakeholders throughout the process
- Track & report progress of the projects (milestones, risks/issues, burndowns)
- Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
- Ability to manage and report on multiple projects simultaneously
- Responsible for setting and distributing key meeting agendas, document preparation and distribution to meeting attendees as necessary.
- Provide estimates on new developments and track estimates vs actuals
- Ensure the projects are managed following the established framework
- Communicate established framework/governance to stakeholders
- Identify, communicate, and track all dependencies
- Manage stakeholder expectations – identify and act on urgent issues
- Review, proofread, and format all correspondence prepared to ensure accuracy and completeness, as well as consistency with the association’s policy standards and exercises good judgment in following up with staff to ensure deadlines are met
- Schedule and organize all activities and appointments such as global meetings, conferences, events, speaking arrangements, travel, and association activities
- Communicate with teams on development progress and commercial timelines
- Attend and facilitate meetings with global teams and stakeholders
- Interactions with delivery manager, development teams, product managers, quality teams, compliance teams, global managers and senior leadership
- Responsible for tracking and communicating high priority initiatives for the executive, and identifying any risks/ challenge
- Responsible for driving and actioning key operational matters including: risk, audit, staff training, pulse, etc. for the global land based business
- Creating systems and processes to streamline operations, and improve efficiency and impact wherever possible
- Creates and manages critical, cross-departmental relationships in order to help execute priorities
What we're looking for
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience: business partner, business process management, project manager, or an aligned role in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's degree in related field required
- Proven results working with CRM systems; PowerBI, Product Configuration and Management Systems, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint and Digital Platforms
- Experience in the Gaming Industry preferred but not mandatory
- Strong knowledge in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Capability to lead projects across multiple geographies
- Excellent written and oral communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with a diverse range of people and job functions including report writing and presentations
- Strong business acumen with the ability to make sound judgements and quick decisions
- Ability to anticipate or recognize problems and refer them to the right person for resolution
- Effective organizational skills, with a demonstrated attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple priorities
- Capacity to communicate and negotiate with all levels of staff and management
- Ability to work under pressure on high visibility projects
