Job Description

We are looking for a new Business Development Manager. As an integral part of the business development team, you will help us obtain and grow new clients, which include global leaders in games and media.

You have a successful track record in B2B sales, business development or marketing/publishing, preferably in the games industry. You have a strong understanding of the games industry, with an existing network. Equally important to your knowledge and background is your passion for the markets in which we are experts: games and media, and the disruptive trends that impact them.

You have the unique ability to understand business needs on both an individual and a company level, and you are excellent at illustrating how market intelligence can bring value to a company. The role is versatile, working on inbound leads and doing pro-active and outbound activities to create a healthy pipeline of new prospects. You will be responsible for the full sales cycle. Key Responsibilities

  • You will set up and manage marketing and sales activities using Newzoo marketing and business development resources, generating a new business revenue pipeline.
  • You will manage the revenue pipeline from prospect to close with the focus on maximizing win rates and predictability of results.
  • You will identify the prospect’s or client’s needs, demo the solution, develop an offer based on our products and services, and close the deal.
  • You will regularly work with other teams such as client success, product development, marketing, market analysts, and consumer research to optimize performance.

Your profile

  • 2-4 years work experience in games industry in sales, business development or marketing/publishing role.
  • BSc/MSc degree in Economics, Market Research, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Flawless English (written and spoken).
  • A passion for digital media and entertainment in general and games in particular.
  • A positive, goal-oriented, self-motivated, independent thinker.
  • A proven ability to exceed expectations or targets.
  • Coachability, openness to feedback, and dedication to consistent self-improvement.
