The Business Development Manager, Monetization SDKs will play a critical role in driving the go-to-market of a truly innovative suite of SDK-based monetization and loyalty products that just may revolutionize the way the mobile gaming industry creates loyalty and retention. The SDKs are a product extension of Mistplay, a global leader in app discovery and loyalty.
Our revolutionary SDKs will allow app developers to monetize entire segments of users who would never have never spent on in app purchases otherwise and increases the LTV and retention of high quality users.
As the Business Development Manager for Mistplay’s suite of SDKs, your role will be prospecting and establishing partnerships with app developers - both existing clients of Mistplay and entirely new clients. In this role you will also work with sales leadership as we continue to grow into the leading mobile gaming loyalty platform in the industry, and cross functionally with our product team to evolve the product features and to ensure client success and satisfaction.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Systematic approach to prospecting for new mobile gaming SDK clients
- Researching relevant companies using available intelligence tools and other resources
- Engage Mistplay account managers to help establish relationship with monetization managers at existing clients
- Outreach to, establish, and maintain relationships with prospects
- Conduct sales calls and meetings to onboard new clients
- Craft proposals for new clients
- Work with legal team to negotiate client contracts
- Maintain pipeline reporting and regularly report status updates, challenges, opportunities, threats, ideas to sales leader
- Attend industry conferences
- Stay up to date on developments in the mobile gaming and mobile app monetization industries
- Continually improve sales and negotiation skills via company provided training and self-directed professional development
- Meet or exceed sales goals
- Analyze the territory, market potential, track sales, and status reports
- Work with revenue operations to help prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports
- Work with sales enablement and marketing team to develop and update sales materials
- Attend events to engage clients, and prospects
What We're Looking For:
- 3+ year experience in business development, sales, account executive, or similar roles selling mobile SDKs
- Ability to generate leads and build opportunity pipelines
- Proven track record meeting or exceeding sales quotas
- Understanding of negotiating principles
- Excellent communicator and presenter
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Organization and time management skills
- Enthusiastic and passionate
- Experience working with market research and other tools for prospecting
- Experience with Salesforce or other CRM tools
- Self-sufficient high performer who enjoys contributing to the success of your team
- Experience in the mobile gaming or adtech market a huge plus
