Business Development Executive

Summary

What you'll do

• Work with internal partners to achieve assigned sales targets for each of Aristocrat’s product lines in line with Aristocrat’s business objectives
• Maximise sales opportunities and identify new business opportunities for mutual benefit
• Negotiate sales deals within business guidelines using the “A” Class Sales methodology
• Maintain regular customer contacts, developing mutually beneficial partnerships/relationships.
• Develop client plans in consultation with the client, based on mutually agreed goals, specifically; sales, marketing and operational
• Co-ordinate the gathering of market intelligence covering competitors products, pricing and services
• Maintains up-to-date client information, including key contacts and current business strategy
• To be the main point of contact between the business and client
• Analyse and distribute information with the client and internally, e.g. feasibility study, game analysis, client report
• Responsible for overseeing the process from order to installation and after sales service to ensure service delivery is within desired levels
• Retains full accountability for sales order accuracy
• Advise clients on market trends, competitive behaviour and developments within the business
• Prepare and submit regular reports as required on client and sales activities, including but not limited to client performance, sales activities, actual performance to target, variance analysis and sales forecasts
• Keeps up to date with industry trends, legislation and business practices
• Represents the company at local and state functions, meetings and trade events

What we're looking for

• Gaming experience including network, product and operational knowledge highly desirable
• Ability to understand business concepts including marketing, financial analysis and operational
• Business degree, business diploma or other relevant qualification is highly desired
• Intermediate computer literacy with Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• Professional presentation
• Effective project planning, time management and organisational skills
• Articulate written and verbal communication skills
• Negotiation and active listening skills
• Problem solving ability to work and make decisions autonomously
• Ability to build strong relationships with all internal customers and to provide a service that will delight external customers
• Friendly and positive personality with the ability to relate to and communicate with internal and external customers at all levels, either individually or in groups

Essential Requirements

• 2-4+ years experience in Sales or related fields
• Current Australian driver’s license
• Prior sales and negotiation experience
