Business Development Executive - SystemsSummary
To develop business opportunities for the ANZ Venue Management Solutions (VMS) Business. From opportunity identification to closure of sale, this role looks at business developed individually, in co-operation with direct colleagues, but also critically, business developed via channel management.
The channel management dimension of this role requires opportunities to be identified through EGM BDEs that do not have core competencies in systems.What You'll Do
Sales
- Territory responsibility for all Australia, specifically NSW/ACT.
- Manage systems sales through the pipeline until closed.
- Channel manage Business Development Executives (BDE) and Regional Business Managers (RBM) through the systems sales process to develop strategies for individual accounts and territories to convert sales.
- Assist BDEs and RBMs with System opportunities by providing negotiation tactics and need based tailored solutions.
- Adopt a solution sales approach to System Sales and demonstrate ability to “think outside the box” to close sales.
- Support the Business Development Team and VMS Business Manager to compile detailed proposals for Key/Strategic Accounts to present and negotiate VMS Solutions.
Finance
- Responsibility to manage the Revenue targets for VMS Australia
- Provide pipeline management and current forecasts to the VMS Business Manager to plan for the month, quarter and yearly results.
- Building of annual budget with a bottom up approach and quarterly forecasting to meet revenue targets.
- Detailed analysis of margins in order to meet business Profits.
Analysis & Industry Understanding
- Discuss systems implementation strategies with accounts as a leading industry expert on tailor made VMS strategies for High-End General Market and General Market Clubs and Hotels.
- Gather market intelligence from the market to play an active role in strategic development decisions for the VMS division.
- Critical thinking in development of A4WS initiatives.
- Participate in Regional Meeting to identify and drive commercial outcomes.
- Actively strategize commercial response to Market changes and trends
What We're Looking For
- 8 - 10 years of sales experience, may possess relevant tertiary qualifications.
- Sales and negotiation experience.
- Gaming industry experience preferable, but not essential.
- A proven track record in a Sales and channel management.
- Commercial awareness with considerable previous experience in customer facing roles.
