• About Playtika Web3: Playtika has recently announced its entrance into Web3 and we are seeking highly talented and motivated individuals to come build the next generation of Web3 and gaming products and technology.
• Our newly established internal Web3 startup team is comprised of a dedicated blockchain R&D team and an operating studio to build, distribute, and operate our Web3 products.
• We are applying our years of expertise as a leader in managing live free-to-play games, building cutting edge technology, and engaging our loyal community of players to offer a new wave of Web3-powered entertainment and innovative content.
• We are looking for an experienced Business Development Director to join our Web3 team.

You will report directly to Playtika’s Senior Vice President of Web3 and be responsible for:

Responsibilities

• Sourcing and developing new commercial relationships across technology, marketing, distribution, and product domains to advance and accelerate our roadmap
• Sourcing new targets for Playtika to invest in and/or acquire and consistently maintaining a pipeline of such targets, collaborating with Playtika’s Corporate Development and Strategy team
• Bolstering Playtika’s brand and presence in the Web3 ecosystem, with specific focus on GameFi, NFTs, and consumer facing Web3 applications
• Originating new, creative ideas to grow our Web3 business and new areas to expand into
• Conceiving and structuring commercial partnerships
• Researching, staying current on, and developing insights into market trends, competitive intelligence, and Playtika’s positioning within the Web3, GameFi, and NFT landscapes
• Serving as Playtika’s primary external-facing representative on all things Web3

Requirements

• A minimum of three years’ work experience in Business Development or similar roles and two years’ experience in Web3/Blockchain
• Strong understanding of Blockchain and Web3 technology, product-building, and marketing/community-engagement
• Well-connected in the global (and Israeli – preferred) Web3 /Blockchain, GameFi, NFT, Startup and Crypto/Blockchain-VC communities
• Strong analytical skills and financial acumen
• Highly sociable, outgoing personality that can represent Playtika well externally
• Go-getter mentality and self-starter
• Native-tongue fluency in English (and Hebrew – preferred)
