Business Developer / Legacy Portfolio Manager

As a Legacy Portfolio Manager at Paradox Interactive, you are both a business and production leader, charged with taking care of Paradox’s older titles and finding solid business opportunities for them. The Legacy Portfolio Manager is the owner of the entire Legacy portfolio within Paradox, accountable for its profitability and the maintenance of its importance within the Paradox strategy.
In charge of both production and business matters, you will benefit from extended flexibility due to few stakeholders to manage, in exchange for receiving little support from the other publishing departments. The role of Legacy Portfolio Manager requires a large amount of autonomy and self-drive, with plenty of potential to fulfill and opportunities to grow.
Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Being the owner of the Legacy Portfolio performance, setting up business goals and making sure it hits its KPI targets
- Ownership of the business case of the portfolio, including building and balancing the P&L, and management of the overall budget
- Representation of the project and its team to both internal and external partners and stakeholders, including presentations, reporting, etc.
- Building and maintaining of a healthy relationship with development partners, both internal or external studios
- Support of the business development and strategic teams in evaluating potential new games and business cases, and the role of the Legacy Portfolio within the broader Paradox strategy
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of relevant experience in game production and publishing
- Solid eye for business opportunities and a drive
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Familiarity with and/or interest in Paradox games is a strong plus
