Business Data Analyst

PUBG Corp. is the developer and publisher of the blockbuster battle royale video game, PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS (PUBG). We are seeking a Business Analytics Manager who will be full-time in our Santa Monica, California location. The Santa Monica office is currently building out the Business Insights team that supports management's decision making and all marketing/community/esports initiatives for the Global market. We are a passionate team that is looking to add a squad member who is a highly organized individual with outstanding analytical and communication skills. Being self-motivated is a must, as well as familiarity with the whole funnel of data analysis - from processing, cleansing, build models, visualization to communicating results to management and related teams.

Role s and Responsibilit ies

• Manage and provide actionable insights into a number of areas, including customer segmentation, behavior based modeling (propensity, churn, LTV, etc.), data strategy, and analytic approaches
• Create and optimize database architecture for consumption in BI tools and deliver flexible and robust technical solutions to answer a multitude of cross functional business questions
• Integrate with and improve existing machine learning pipelines on propensity scoring and LTV projection to granularize the understanding of user journey and customer value
• Perform complex SQL queries on data warehouse and work with other data extraction, reporting, and analytic tools to develop executive level reporting
• Conceptualize and lead major analysis around new map releases, monetization events, and any other additional content introduced to the game
• Maintain and support the daily ETL processes including dimensional modeling, workflow design, and data cleansing
• Work across multiple data sources (Web, in-game, CS) to develop a complete picture of gamer behavior

Skills to create thrills

• BA or BS in quantitative field (Economics, engineering, mathematics)
• 5+ years of experience performing marketing analytics for a digital, consumer facing company
• Knowledge of Python, Tableau, and SQL is required. Knowledge of Spark is highly preferred.
• Experience with large individual customer behavioral data sets (gaming, retail, financial services) and expertise in ETL methodology
• Deep knowledge of defining database schemas, creating table structures, and managing table linkages to support backend BI and marketing data infrastructure
• Effective delivery of analysis results with data Visualization skills such as tableau and MS Powerpoint
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills with a proven track record of synthesizing and sharing data insights across all levels of the organization
