About the Role
Sago Mini is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to help our teams make smarter, more informed decisions around major initiatives. This candidate will be responsible for translating data from a number of sources and teams into insights that power our product and marketing teams, as well as informing business objectives and areas of opportunity to drive growth at Sago Mini.
This is a full-time position, suitable for candidates with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
What You'll Be Doing
- Work closely with growth and product teams to develop reporting and analyses that will guide them to action.
- Contribute to future product strategy through data-driven insights and macro trends.
- Assess the impact of product pricing, marketing campaign performance, and paid user acquisition; Communicate data-driven insights and recommendations to key team members.
- Develop and refine revenue models for financial planning and budgeting purposes and prepare analysis for financial commentary.
- Build lasting solutions to surface critical data and performance metrics.
Qualifications and Skills
- Degree in commerce, economics, accounting, finance, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of professional experience in a directly related field.
- Ability to analyze and model complex data sets; knowledge of tools such as SQL is required.
- Strong data modelling, predictive modelling, and analytical techniques.
- Experience working in direct-to-consumer companies.
- Experience working with data sets from paid digital advertising campaigns.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, exceptional attention to detail.
Nice to Haves
- In-depth understanding of subscription-based products or services.
- Experience working with data visualization tools (e.g. Looker, Google Data Studio, Tableau).
- Basic proficiency in Python.
