The Role

The Business Analyst Intern position will be in the Program Management department supporting the Vendor Management and Budgets team. We're a small, fun team handling the procure-to-pay and budgeting processes for three large departments. The goal of this assignment is to build and improve upon our tools and processes to increase automation, integration and data retention. Specific projects are automating the alignment of monthly transactions reports to itemized budget lines, improving the use of an existing work ticketing system, and building metrics dashboards. Responsibilities include researching to understand current methodologies, brainstorming and proposing solutions, and implementing desired scripts, files and reports. Our intern will be using and creating databases, spreadsheets, pivot tables, and scripts, and preparing workflow documentation.

Ideal Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business information systems, computing and systems development, business management, or similar.
• The ideal candidate will be strong in Excel spreadsheets and pivot tables, experience in scripting and developing reports using business intelligence tools, such as Tableau.
• Experience with a job ticketing system such as JIRA is helpful. In addition to technical work, the candidate understands and writes business workflows. Bring your energy and enthusiasm!
