Build Engineer

Rebellion is looking for Build Engineers to help maintain and improve our testing systems and hardware. This is an exciting opportunity to work at an independent AAA multi-project studio and help make all of the games Rebellion is working on as good as they can be.
This is a permanent full-time role based at our Warwick studio. You must be able to legally work in the UK.
You will
- Improve developers' workflow
- Extend build and test systems for new platforms
- Diagnose and fix errors that occur in automated tests.
- Assist game teams in finding, fixing, and preventing problems
- Write programs to make disparate systems work together seamlessly
Requirements
- Methodical approach to problem solving and diagnosing hardware related issues
- Some programming knowledge
- Ability to understand how systems fit together
- Ability to quickly learn new systems, concepts, and languages
- Interest in making others' jobs easier
Experience in any of the following a bonus:
- C++, C#, Python, Batch, Bash, Groovy, Java, Perl, PHP
- Windows or Linux administration
- Jenkins, Perforce, Jira, Visual Studio, MSBuild, Elasticsearch
- Game development on current-gen consoles
- Statistical data analysis
- Working with people to find and fix problems they are having
