Build Engineer

Job Description
- Working closely with the studio departments to fulfill the needs of the building, packaging, deployment, and testing tools
- Setting up and maintaining DevOps practices to support all development activities
- Understanding the risks and impacts of branches and code merges and provide mitigation strategies
- Helping with IT architecture design
- Evaluating and integrating new tools and technologies to boost productivity
- Planning and managing all release activities
- Preparing and submitting all technical and release documentation
- Designing, deployment, and maintenance of the build delivery system
- Acting as an organizational expert with Perforce Administration challenges
- Providing support and mentorship for other team members during critical stages of development
- Occasionally supporting Lead in recruitment projects with HR collaboration
- Actively attend in code reviews
Qualifications
- 3 years of working experience (as Build Engineer/Release Manager) in game development
- Solid experience with setup, configuration, and maintenance of CI systems
- C# strong experience
- C++ good experience
- Good knowledge of Perforce/Swarm
- Proficiency with the distributed build systems (FASTBuild/IncrediBuild/SN-DBS)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Open-minded team player attitude
- Strong work ethic and self-motivated
- Passionate about playing and making video games
Nice to have
- Atlassian software (JIRA, Confluence) knowledge
- Knowledge of artifacts repository systems
- Knowledge of test automation systems
- Experience with the Unreal Engine

People Can Fly is one of the leading and most experienced Unreal Engine studios in the world. We took off in 2002 and since then, we have never slowed down. We made our mark on the action-shooter genre, developing titles such as Painkiller, Bulletstorm, and Gears of War: Judgement.
