Build Engineer

Obsidian is looking for an experienced Build Engineer to create and maintain automated processes for games using the Unreal Engine and help with release management.
Our ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, outstanding problem-solving skills, and works well supporting multiple teams simultaneously.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain automated processes for game builds, tools builds, asset exports, continuous integration, code signing, and game packages
- Create and maintain automated testing environments and build farms
- Collaborate with game teams to identify build process needs and requirements
- Set up platform release environments for games including Xbox, Windows Store, and Steam
- Integrate platform specific SDKs
Requirements
- Proficiency in C/C++ and C#
- At least 2 years of experience as a Build Engineer
- A passion for automation programming
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
- Excellent communication and team skills
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Engineering
Pluses
- Experience using Unreal Engine
- Experience developing miscellaneous tools and utilities with C# or Python
- Experience with WinForms and .NET
- Experience with Jenkins or equivalent software (TeamCity, Buildbot, etc.)
- Experience with the Perforce command-line
