Job Description
The Branded Content Specialist is here to imagine and create amazing game-related contents. By developing a local flavor & identity, we engage the communities with entertaining assets such as news articles, videos, live streams, offline events, etc.
You will work very closely with the local teams (Producing, Community Management, art, etc.) to support them with fun and creative contents, infusing life inside and outside of our games, and enabling a transmedia experience.
RESPONSABILITIES
- Generate ideas and drive their creation and production, on time and on budget
- Understand our players well to produce relevant contents for them
- Develop your short/mid/long term plans to match the production roadmap
- Work with internal and external partners to put your plans to life
- Set the “local tone” of the game alongside the product team(s)
- Co-ownership of the Social Media operations
Task details
- Create fun and engaging branded contents to support the community activities (articles, videos, live stream, offline, etc.)
- Contents copywriting and storytelling
- Develop Transmedia contents (anime, manga, or others)
- Interact with our players in and out of the game on a regular basis to know them better
- Co-manage the website and in-game communication
- Produce and support players events/gatherings
Qualifications
What you need to succeed in this role:
- Love for creation and idea generation…and for materializing them!
- Can write well and enjoy telling stories
- Very hands-on and scrappy attitude; someone who can find solutions
- Can both plan but also work with tighter deadlines to achieve our goals
- Comfortable in interacting with players and potentially public speaking
- Proficient with creative tools (image and video editing, etc.).
- You are a gamer too and enjoy interacting with other players
- Native (or fluent) Japanese; English communication a plus
Best to have:
- Well-versed in current Asian gaming trends and market competition (or willing to learn)
- Have worked in a gaming company before
- Passion for shooter and F2P Games As a Service a big plus!
