Brand Portfolio Management Director (M/W/NB)

The Brand Portfolio Management department is a multidisciplinary team at Ubisoft’ international headquarters and located in 6 sites around the world (Paris, Montreal, San Francisco, Shanghai, Malmö and Montpellier). The team brings together more than 100 people and collaborates with all entities within Ubisoft to develop our portfolio strategy and brand management and to support our game projects in order to optimize their market strategy.
We are recruiting a BPM Director in our “Consumer Market Research and Marketability” team whose mandate is to help Ubisoft teams (Top Management, Studios, Editorial, Publishing, International Production, HQ Teams…), feed and build their decision-making process through their consumer and market expertise and their research protocols.
As a BPM Director and reporting to the VP, your mandate involves:
Game’s marketability :
- Design and lead the most relevant research setup to tackle marketability stakes, centralize data & research to provide key stakeholders with 360°strategic insights on marketability topics
- Bring deep expertise & strategic recommendations on Market and Consumer areas to key stakeholders: Production, Editorial, Publishing, Mobile, UFT...
- Act as the primary HQ Partner regarding game’s marketability, coordinate the different stakeholders involved in marketability discussions and share updates to Top Management
- Assess & monitor game’s marketability over time and recommend key enablers for production & publishing teams to maximize market success
Brand research :
- Set up & share brand diagnosis including main challenges, stakes & growth recommendations to the stakeholders involved
- Lead brand health check and monitoring
- Work along with brand & portfolio stakeholders, and take part to the design of brand vision (brand DNA) & strategy
These Brand deliverables imply both involvement and collaboration of multiple stakeholders.
The role of the BPM Director is to be part of the process and actively take part to the deliverables’ production.
As BPM Director, you will be assigned some of our brands directly, you will also be actively working hand in hand with other BPM teams (such as Data Science, Mobile Teams, Market strategy) and external partners.
In this role, you will manage a team of 8 people (3 direct reports only).
Qualifications
To succeed in this position, you have developed significant strategic and management skills in a fast-paced international context through a solid leadership position in brand and marketing consulting (brand strategy, marketing strategy) or in an entertainment industry.

- You have developed advanced critical mindset, analytical and strategical skills;
- Your knowledge in marketing, business and brands or market research allows you to address marketability issues;
- Fluent in English, you are able to manage multiple stakeholders in a complex international organization;
- A solid understanding of the video game industry is a strong asset;
