Job description
The team:
The Brand & Portfolio Management group works in close collaboration with all entities throughout the company with 3 major priorities:
1) accelerate the development of our portfolio strategy
2) align stakeholders on brand visions and roadmaps
3) unify and develop our expertise in the fields of games, gaming market, consumers and marketability to better support our projects.
Your role:
Within this department, the BPM Communications Director’s role has two major responsibilities:
- Internally : To make sure the vision and mandates of the BPM team are properly conveyed to and understood by Ubisoft’s 20.000 employees.
- Externally : To monitor the quality of the content produced and shared during Ubisoft’s external events and their alignment with the BPM group vision.
Missions:
1) Internal communitation strategy
- Voice the BPM team vision and ensure it is accurately communicated to all of Ubisoft teams.
- Define and execute a communication plan, including identifying the right messages, tone and assets
- Collaborate with all teams within the BPM department and with HQ communications teams to successfully roll out the communication plan.
- Organize and host internal events: presentations, corporate events, etc.
2) External events and content
- Build the external events strategy in close collaboration with the Corporate Events team;
- Define the content strategy of our international events;
- Ensure a proper execution of the defined strategy with the support of external agencies and partners on our major events (Ex. Ubisoft Forward, E3, Gamescom, etc.)
3) Promote a communication culture
- Follow-up on studies and benchmarks to inspire the creative teams on best practices on topics such as online events management;
4) BPM communication team management
- Participate in all hiring processes;
- Contribute to the team’s dynamic;
- Coach and develop the team members;
Qualifications
- You are graduated from a master’s in business or communications ;
- You have a strong experience in marketing or communication positions ;
- You have good knowledge of games, the game industry and games’ development processes ;
- You know how to deal with agile multi-project management ;
- You are a positive leader: you know how to influence and manage positively teams ;
- You have organizational and active listening skills ;
- A mandatory English-speaking level and a conversational French level are required.
