What You Will Do
- Identify and engage with key contacts and prospective partner organizations to define and craft new partnerships and business unlocks
- Lead the development and negotiation of strategic deals that expand the Skillz platform to acquire new players and generate ad revenue
- Obsess over pipeline hygiene ensuring opportunities are accurate and progress through the pipeline stages in a timely manner
- Report regularly to the team on the status of key opportunities and efforts
Your Skillz
- Demonstrated experience building, managing and growing relationships with key digital advertising decision makers across both clients and agencies
- Proven experience managing multiple accounts/partnerships and monitoring customer satisfaction
- A strong understanding of complex sales opportunity requirements for multiple customers and ability to lead the development of client strategy and strategic marketing plans
- Proven ability to prioritize work and manage resources to drive for results in a highly matrixed, dynamic organization
- Great decision making, organizational planning skills, multitasking and customer interaction experience
- Ability to engage complex business and technical challenges confidently and make necessary tradeoffs
- The ability to focus on the relevant details and see the big picture in order to make the right decision—the first time
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
Education & Experience
- BS / BA degree, MBA preferred
- 5+ years of experience in Digital Ad Sales within relevant industry (mobile, platform, media, gaming, online consumer)
- A strong network in digital marketing industry
- Gaming and eSports industry knowledge a plus
