A bit about the role:
As esports is on an upscaling trend and becoming a popular culture for gamers and investors, we are now looking for a Brand Partnerships Manager to join the team in this newly created role to assist, create, build, and deliver go-to-market strategies for global brand partner acquisition on the World Championships for Gods Unchained (but not limited to!). This would include obtaining leads and selling/closing deals with the partners. You will be instrumental in helping us secure additional revenue for our esports products and enable further sustainability and growth.
You will have the opportunity to:
- Oversee the acquisition and growth of our client base, revenue, and profitability from commercial deals, partnerships and media rights.
- Work closely with the esports product team to successfully deliver the campaign management and execution of sales requirements and ensure that key accounts are met.
- Approach new clients and understand their objectives and goals when integrating within the Gods Unchained esports ecosystem.
- Manage the end-to-end sales process from initial reach out to contract closure to successful execution and retro.
- Maintain accurate sales pipelines and expected forecasts.
- Ensure key account retention, profitability, and business growth.
- Oversee and be accountable for the implementation of esports partnerships and long-term success.
We would love you to have:
- 3-5 years of experience in a sales or partnerships role.
- A clear vision and understanding for B2B & B2B2C selling.
- A strong understanding of broadcast media rights and potentially inventory for gaming and esports.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to communicate both technically and strategically with partners.
- Experience in independently identifying market/growth potential, observing the competitors, and knowing their price structure, and price policy.
- The ability to innovate on inventory opportunities within broadcast and game to provide partners with added value.
Some extra skills that would be awesome:
- A strong interest or prior experience within the esports or gaming industry
- Interest in blockchain/cryptocurrency/NFTs
- Understanding gamers as a market and how they consume content
- A marketing background

Gods Unchained (GU) is one of the worlds first NFT online trading card games led by Chris Clay (Former Game Director of Magic: The Gathering Arena). Providing true ownership for our players through NFTs you will be able to collect, build, sell and directly trade your cards to other players. Gods Unchained remains focused on strong, competitive gameplay at it's core, giving players a wide variety of tactical options in each game depending on the individual decks being built.
