Roblox is looking for a Partnerships Account Manager focused on Emerging Verticals. This is a contractor position based in Roblox HQ- San Mateo, CA.
The Partnerships Account Manager is responsible for delivering services to each of Roblox's partners within the Emerging Verticals category, including Auto, Tech, Telco, Travel, CPG, QSR. The Account Manager will collaborate with large strategic brands from initiation to launch to post-launch maintenance. Candidates for this position are self-assured team players with exceptional project / program management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time. This is a partner-facing role requiring industry expertise and a proven ability to execute large partnerships with premium brands.
This role will be a 6-month contract onsite at our San Mateo HQ and reports to the Director of Account Management.
You Will:
- Support the partnerships team across Emerging Verticals: including Auto, Tech, Telco, Travel, CPG, QSR, etc.
- Collaborate internally with cross-functional teams to understand Roblox functionalities and limitations and keep up to date with Roblox product and advertising updates
- Effectively use data to tell a story and influence partners
- Work with Vertical Lead to educate new partners about the opportunities that exist on Roblox; brainstorm creative and authentic ways for brands to enter into the metaverse and help brands identify milestones
- Drive daily operational support and provide consultation on long-term strategy for partners; support partner retention strategy with vertical lead
- Build XFN relationships and guide collaboration with our teams to refine existing processes, tools and documentations
- Coordinate and manage internal and external production schedules; complete key tasks prior to Experience launch
- Act as point of contact across developer and brand to ensure partnership is running smoothly and is set up for success
You Have:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- 3+ years experience as an account manager at an agency, social media platform, or relevant marketing function; 6+ years work experience
- Experience working with brand partners in a Marketing or Brand Partnerships capacity; and/or working in social media / digital marketing in a partner-facing role
- Comfort with ambiguity and taking initiative to figure out creative solves to challenges
The pay range listed is hourly.
For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits.

$76.29 — $92.59 USD
