Apply

Riot Games was established in 2006 by entrepreneurial gamers who believe that player-focused game development can result in great games. In 2009, Riot released its debut title League of Legends to critical and player acclaim. As the most played PC game in the world, over 100 million play every month. Players form the foundation of our community and it’s for them that we continue to evolve and improve the League of Legends experience.

We’re looking for humble but ambitious, razor-sharp professionals who can teach us a thing or two. We promise to return the favor. Like us, you take play seriously; you’re passionate about games. We embrace those who see things differently, aren’t afraid to experiment, and who have a healthy disregard for constraints.

That's where you come in.

As a brand and product expert, you will have the chance to make history in Riot and our industry by crafting and determining the marketing plan for our games in Riot: League of Legends, esports projects and/or any future games like Project A and Legends of Runeterra, to ensure local resonance and positive brand/product health of our products in the LATAM region. This includes product planning, launching strategies, player journey, funnel management, acquisition, product definition & development, translating data into awesome insights and actionables among others.

As a Mexico City Rioter, you’ll join a small team of internationally and culturally diverse professionals that share our prioritization of player experience, rejection of convention, and maniacal passion for gaming. With teams in Marketing, Business Development, Publishing and Esports, Riot Games Mexico City is dedicated to creating unique player experiences that show local players they aren't lost in translation.

You Are:

An experienced cross functional contributor: you bring at least six years of experience in the field with proven results leading cross-discipline groups; bonus points if that XP includes an MBA from a top school

A marketing pro: you have deep knowledge and a strong track record creating and executing marketing or brand campaigns focused on delivering value to players or consumers in unique and memorable ways. You are savvy creating exceptional briefs and excel in managing tools and techniques for campaign and product development and definition. Strategically you are sharp as a knife.

Strategic and insight-driven: you have the ability to see the big picture and utilize your suite of skills to level up your team’s creative ideas; you back up those strong marketing instincts with meticulous analysis, metrics and stats translating that into actionables and setting up the north for the rest of the teams and organization.

A communicator: you can clearly articulate your vision and inspire others to fulfill that vision as a team. You’re comfortable collaborating, whether in the hallway or via email, in-game chat or messenger pigeon.

A self-starter/proactive: whether you’re working on a new campaign or mastering a new champion, it’s always been your prerogative to learn, practice, improve and repeat; that work ethic keeps you going, even when the way forward isn’t clear

Analytic: you are keen on noticing the missing pieces and then translate that in the creation and development of programs and solutions to better serve our players

A gamer and a geek: gaming is an essential part of your life. You ́ve played many games and can't think of life without it. Huge bonus if you ́re a fan of League and Runeterra. You love to spend your time in the local comic shop and know all about the Star Wars canon

You will:

Don’t forget to include a resume and cover letter. We receive a lot of applications, but we’ll notice a fun, well-written intro that shows us you take play seriously.
