I sense a soul in search of answers! Blizzard is on a quest to find an enthusiastic Brand Manager for the Diablo Global Publishing team. This individual will support Diablo Immortal, the mobile hit set in Sanctuary, working with the Publishing Leader to execute internal and external promotional campaigns. The ideal candidate is extremely organized, detail oriented, and an effective communicator, who will be working with all publishing activities within owned & operated channels (social/community, PR, web, CRM, ASO) as well as paid & earned channels (UA, partnerships, 1st party). Passion for all things Diablo, Blizzard, and mobile gaming are huge pluses.
Covid-19 Hiring Update: We’ve transitioned to a work-from-home model and we’re continuing to interview and hire during this time. This role is expected to begin as a remote position. We understand each person’s circumstances may be unique and will work with you to explore possible interim options.
Responsibilities
- Support development of strategic publishing plans including, but not limited to, go-to-market planning, live-operations, and both internal & external partnerships planning.
- Own and drive execution across all publishing activities, including PR, social & community, UA, partnerships, and creative development & optimizations.
- Generate actionable plans based on both qualitative and quantitative understanding of our player's in-game behaviors.
- Support publishing leaders across regions to coordinate, develop, measure, and improve global marketing tactics.
- Work with internal teams to manage platform partnerships with 1st-party to secure featuring & other promotional activities for launches & events.
- Lead key discussions between cross functional teams as well as external agencies & teams.
- Manage development and distribution of all key assets.
Requirements
- 5 years experience in a marketing or related field.
- Experience working effectively and constructively with development, publishing, regional, and external agency teams.
- Experience leading product launch campaigns at scale, including mobile products, and the self-awareness to understand learnings from both the successes and the failures.
- Advanced knowledge of mobile ecosystems, platforms, channels, ASO, and performance marketing.
- Track record of successful projects and failures (and learnings from latter).
- Avid gamer across mobile/PC/console platforms
- MBA strongly preferred
