Ubisoft Production HQ is the headquarter of our network of production studios and plays an essential role in the conception of our games. Closely working with the top management and our studios worldwide, our role is to support the various project teams on different topics (production processes, design, content, game direction, financial planning, human resources) in order to enable them to develop high-quality games while maintaining an editorial and strategic coherence. The team:
Online Services is an international team at Ubisoft that offers a set of modular and managed solutions that empowers game developers and publishing teams to:
- Develop great live experiences by integrating our solutions to build a tailored live experience and enrich the ecosystem by providing ideas and requirements.
- Operate with agility by implementing cost-efficient solutions to keep and renew the audience’s interest.
- Reach all players by leveraging Ubisoft Connect that allows us to reach the entire Ubisoft audience as well as acquire new players
Job ambition:
As Brand Director, you will bring a market-perspective to production, so that it delivers experiences grounded in consumer insights while maintaining the integrity of the creative vision.
You are the ambassador of the brand, a representative of its community within its development team. You know its audience – and what they want. Your expertise influences the content that goes into the service as well as the way we communicate about it externally, inspiring players – both current and potential – to visit and use Ubisoft Connect services.
What you will do:
- Work closely with other core team members to discuss the vision & long-term goals;
- Define the brand identity, its values and themes, positioning, target market, in alignment with the production long terms goals;
- Develop the communication timeline, milestones, KPIs, and budgets;
- Collaborate on marketing strategies and tactics (campaigns, events, sales, etc.) to build brand awareness, traffic and usage;
- Collaborate with the data, consumer research and community management teams to gather player insights and recommendations, bridging the market, the players and the development teams;
- Partner with brand directors, Direct to consumer & publishing teams to use Ubisoft Connect as a catalyst to value the brands, the games, the offers & the way Ubisoft interact with its players;
- Team up with producers and other directors to review services and flows, ensuring that suggestions are in line with what our community wants.
- Research and monitor market trends to identify exposure opportunities.
- Build and grow your brand team.
Qualifications
- Business School background or similar, you have significant experience in product development, agile project management or/and change management;
- You can influence positively with your leadership, and you know how to communicate with impact;
- You are at ease with collaborating cross entities and teams (incl. geographically distributed teams);
- You adopt and maintain a strategic vision;
- A fluent level of English is mandatory;

This job is a fixed-term contract from 02/01/2022 to 23/04/2022 (maternity leave).
