Summary:
Reporting to the Senior Producer, Creative Services, the Brand Asset Manager will help scope, build, and maintain a new Age of Learning Brand Asset Management platform. This role will be responsible for managing the company’s vital library of branded digital assets. It will be extremely important for this person to work well under pressure with the ability to curate, organize, document, catalog, metatag, and manage digital assets. In developing the Brand Asset Management platform, you will be highly collaborative with all teams and company touchpoints—you’re the glue that unites the process and workflows in between departments needing branded assets.
Responsibilities:
- Independent self-starter who can scope, help build, and maintain a new Age of Learning Brand Asset Management platform; accessible and easy to use for both internal and external end-users
- Oversee and maintain the Brand Style Guide in Confluence, acting as a librarian, archivist, organizer, meta-tagger (data entry), and guardian of Creative Services files, photo library, fonts, and other digital content
- Collaborate with designers in master asset creation
- Grow and manage corporate photography library; knowledgeable on company usage rights, policies, and procedures, file permissions for photos and fonts
- Ongoing development and maintenance of Brand Guidelines across all Age of Learning touchpoints
- Knowledgeable on current in-product updates, and can relate back to management platform
- Report project statuses, interface with key stakeholders, coordinate and liaise between team members from various departments to help execute and drive companywide efforts
- Review and quality check art asset requests
- Research stock photography for a variety of needs across touchpoints
- Additional tasks as needed
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and 3–5 years experience in a similar role
- Extreme attention to detail, proactive, systematic, and well organized
- Basic Adobe Suite, capable with a variety of file types, including Illustrator, Photoshop, Animate (Flash), XD, Sketch, to make basic adjustments—production artist skillset
- Review digital Brand Assets/illustrations and provide specifics on alignment with Brand Guidelines; evaluate vector asset quality and recommend adjustments
- Experience with a digital asset management system, such as Xinet/Confluence
- Ability to multitask efficiently and effectively with fast-paced deadlines and turnarounds
- Intuitive communicator without needing to be asked for status reports and updates; flexible
- Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel; WordPress a plus
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Strong customer service orientation, patience, and desire to be helpful
- Project management skills with the ability to create custom workflows
- Sense of humor required
