BioWare is looking for an Animation Systems Designer to develop and integrate experiences that combine the best of a continuously updated live game and BioWare’s immersive RPG experiences.
What the Animation Systems Designer will do:
Responsibilities:
- Work with the cinematic animation team to implement cinematics that are both realtime and pre-rendered
- Troubleshoot and evolve the cinematic animation pipeline to fit project needs
- Collaborate with animation, art, writing, level design, programming, and production
- Partner with a variety of external vendors to create the highest quality art in the industry
Qualifications:
- 6+ years of related industry experience would be preferred. The ideal candidate has experience in the full development cycle of AAA gaming.
- A degree in Animation, Game Design, Programming or related diploma
- Experience troubleshooting and owning cinematic pipelines
- Experience working closely with external art vendors
- Strong ability to pick up and understand new workflows and technologies
- Experience with vector math and visual scripting
- Understanding of cinematography

- All submissions should include examples showing personal and/or professional artwork related to this type of work
