What you’ll do
Epic Games is searching for an exceptional Benefits & Leave Specialist to join our global Benefits team. In this role, you will develop and utilize a deep knowledge of US and non-US leave of absence administration, provide excellent service as a primary point of contact across the company, troubleshoot diverse challenges, and assist with day-to-day benefit plan operations. By doing so, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and wellness of our global team.
In this role you will
- Be the first point of contact in Epic’s day to day global leave of absence administration
- Coordinate and escalate all benefits and/or leave of absence queries received by employees; advocate on behalf of plan members and coordinate with external/internal partners
- Conduct recurring and ad-hoc audits with exceptional attention to detail; investigate and solve for discrepancies
- Partner with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient leave of absence and benefit plan administration
- Oversee FMLA and COBRA administration; stay up to date with legislative changes
- Workday - event approvals and leave processing
- Maintain digital storage of plan documents and employee resources
- Maintain HIPAA/GDPR compliance
What we’re looking for

- Comfort with a fast-paced work environment
- US and non-US leave of absence administration and benefits experience
- Understanding of standard regulations and compliance practices related to leaves of absence and benefit plans (e.g. FMLA, USERRA, PFL, ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, GDPR)
- +3 years of relevant benefits and leave of absence administration experience
- Helpful: HRIS familiarity (we use Workday)
- Helpful: Excel or Google Sheets experience
