Backend Software Engineer

Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC seeks a Backend Software Engineer in Los Angeles, CA to build applications using AWS services and manage AWS CI/CD infrastructures. Requires a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field or equivalent, and two (2) years of experience working with technical teams to troubleshoot test failures in various test environments. Prior experience must include two (2) years of creating solutions using containers in development using Docker Compose and production with ECS; implementing the User Interface for web applications using React.js and other web technologies; working with other engineers to produce high-quality software products while adhering to coding standards, producing design documentation, and supporting integration; refactoring the existing code base and improving overall quality of code; performing emerging technology research and presenting the recommendation to the site; and in executing duties, utilizing Node.js, React.js, Go, Python, AWS CI/CD infrastructures, Lambda Functions, Pub/Sub Messaging, SQL, ECS, NoSQL, Redis, Elasticsearch, and Docker Compose.
