Back-End Web Developer (Mobile)

Job Description

As a back-end web developer at Ubi MTL, you will join our team working on the Rainbow 6 mobile game franchise, to help build and work on a tool for gamers.

What you'll do

• Participate in the entire development lifecycle with a focus on code, bug resolution and optimization;
• Work closely with front-end developers and interdependent teams across our studios;
• Implement security and data protection;
• Design and integrate data storage solutions and maintain server infrastructure;
• Deploy content and services to the game application + adapt it to new platforms.

Qualifications

What you bring

• Approximately 3 years of web or mobile development experience (or related experience) in primarily C#;
• Knowledge of server infrastructure; cloud providers; bug tracking software (e.g. Jira); and source control software;
• Experience with automated testing and databases;
• A degree in computer science or equivalent;
• Excellent oral and written interpersonal communication skills demonstrating flexibility, and being problem solving oriented;
• Curiosity and willingness to continue learning (new tools, new techniques on what to develop best practices and introduce innovative ideas).
