Job Title – Automation Project Manager
**Note**: Final Designation/Level will be decided based on the relevant experience and interview ratings.
Job Summary –
Ubisoft Entertainment is seeking a highly organized project manager with outstanding communication abilities and proven experience in project management. The project manager will oversee the game from QC perspective to interface with development teams on QC initiatives while identifying and communicating QC needs.
The ideal candidate shall have the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical personnel. The position will require the person to work closely with QC Teams from multiple studios and the development teams to ensure high level of collaboration on the assigned title.

Job Responsibilities:
As a part of Ubisoft QC Department, you will be involved in a complex process of quality control and serving the following mandates -
- Spearhead the discussion with Production team for requirement gathering, process establishment and setting up of communication channels
- Regular sync up with Production team, developers and QC team to communicate progress and changes across the teams
- Analyze the resource requirements for the project based on the scope of the project and previous workload estimates.
- understand resource estimates and prepare budget accordingly
- Track the progress and raise the alarms well in time
- Collaborate with the QC Operations Manager to forecast human/hardware/software resource requirements proactively
- Coordinate with QC Operations Manager to regularly update the PST tool according to projects and resources repartition
- Collaborates with stakeholders to work on process improvement initiatives in-line with studio and World Wide QC (WWQC)strategies
- Contribute towards WWQC programs and provide necessary information and resources to make them a success
- Continuously analyze the tool improvements/needs for our QC teams on the project and share the same with the Production teams
- Along with the dev-team coordinator define the project goals and objectives.
- Define the processes & procedures to be followed by the Automation teams throughout the duration of the project.
- Identify the documentation, knowledge management, communication and collaboration processes that will be followed by the Automation teams through various project stages
- Ensure high level of collaboration between the Automation, QC and Production teams, define the best practices to be followed and create information sharing platforms where all involved teams can contribute
- Create a Automation Strategy for the project along with the Leads to ensure complete coverage on the scope of the project
- Update the WWQC and other stakeholders with appropriate reports (Monthly/Weekly)
- Identify risks to the project and analyze the risk based on impact, probability of occurrence and its effect on the game quality & release date. Similarly come up with a mitigation plan for the identified risks
- Create Project Post Mortem to share the best practices for the processes & procedures as well as key takeaways for future iterations.
- Identify and document best practices and lessons learned
- Stakeholder management- Creating and maintaining a dashboard of the Automation team’s performance. Identifying red flags and proactively resolve any concerns and issues
- Identify tools requirement and opportunities for automation implementation to improve testing efficiency
- Contribute proactively towards the Studio roadmap initiatives and work with cross-unit teams to implement the required changes
- Participate in regular QC review meetings to highlight Project progress, share updates and identify risks and relevant action items
- Ready for frequent travel
PERSONAL SPECIFICATIONS
Required skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Team Management with Ubisoft
- Not Recently promoted to a new position within 1 year.
- Good managerial skills with previous experience in coordinating large, cross-cultural and cross-functional teams on a Technical Assignment or Technical Project Delivery
- Solid communication skills in English with French being a plus
- Experience in Project Management role
- Good to have gaming industry experience or you are a gamer
- Strong understanding of debugging and quality control process
- Well-developed interpersonal skills
- Thrives in a fast paced, dynamic environment
- Critical thinking & problem-solving
- Efficiency oriented, anticipative thinking

Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of Project Management tools and frameworks
- Knowledge of Agile, DevOps, TDD/ BDD methodologies. Experience in working in an Agile environment being a plus
- Experience of managing large teams
