Augmented Reality Technical Program Manager

DigitalFish is building the next generation of Augmented Reality (AR). We are looking for an experienced Augmented Reality Technical Program Manager to guide and lead production pipelines and to work with 3D and technical artists to effectively realize our vision. You will be working with Facebook Reality Labs, Facebook’s AR/VR group, to create new AR experiences on emerging platforms, and taking advantage of recent advances in computer vision and machine learning.

Responsibilities
- Work with internal teams and external partners, across multiple time zones, to support the launch of AR experiences ensuring projects meet quality standards and deliver on time
- Communicate with internal technical teams to understand and assess the technical requirements for implementation of projects with partners
- Run weekly technical meetings and write documentation and briefs to pass on learning
- Triage challenges and work with client technical teams to come up with the best solutions
- Evaluate, establish relationships with, and oversee vendor studios
- Track and monitor a master schedule of production processes
- Proactively communicate project status, issues, and risks to management, partners, and team members
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Marketing, and PR teams to create a shared understanding of product capabilities
- Own the delivery of assets and the completion of tasks
- Meet with the Legal team to develop contracts for Partner commitments
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 8+ years of professional experience in real-time graphics, AR/VR, or game development
- Experience developing project-management, artist management, and operating processes and workflow.
- Proficiency with Agile development practices, source control, and QA processes
- Excellent communication skills to work with multi-functional teams
- Exceptional organizational and leadership skills
- Team management experience
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States

Location
You will begin working virtually due to COVID-19 restrictions, transitioning in early 2022 to work on site at a Facebook location.
