Summary:

Naughty Dog is seeking an on-site Audio Visual Technician to join our IT team in supporting our infrastructure and development team. This position will be responsible for technical support, installation, and upkeep of Naughty Dog’s audio visual equipment and systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, exceptional customer service skills, collaborates well in a team environment, and is well versed in audio, video, and streaming technologies. The candidate would also have a strong passion for researching, deploying, and supporting cutting edge hardware and software solutions. Responsibilities:

• Provide and maintain audio visual hardware, software, and system support for local and remote users
• Respond to customer requests from low to high complexity
• Support specialized hardware, software, and audio visual equipment for various Naughty Dog teams, including but not limited to: The
• Naughty dog Audio Team, Communications Team, and Editing Team
• Management of studio wiring (conference rooms, video production rooms, streaming studio)
• Deploy workstation hardware, operating systems, and software according to documented procedures and/or customer specific needs
• Deploy and troubleshoot development hardware
• Rack and install server and network hardware
• Assist with live streaming studio productions
• Assist with equipment installation/relocation during studio reorganizations and expansions
• Assist with the administration of network services, servers, and backup systems
• Recommend, test, and deploy new hardware, software, and peripherals
• Maintain hardware and software inventory
• Document and maintain installation and procedure guides

Requirements & Skills:

• Experience with studio wiring, pathing, and signal flow (HDMI, AES, XLR, BNC, Dante)
• Experience using both still and video cameras
• Experience supporting Windows 10, Windows Sever 2019, Office 365, and Linux kernel 4+
• Knowledge of digital audio workstations and DAW software (ProTools, Reaper, Nuendo)
• Knowledge of live streaming hardware, software, and services (OBS, Vmix, El Gato, Twitch, YouTube Live)
• Knowledge of f-stop, shutter speed/angles, and depth of field
• Excellent written and oral communication, customer service, and organization skills
• Ability to learn quickly and demonstrate excellent technical problem-solving skills
• Ability to physically lift and move heavy objects and equipment
• Ability to install, upgrade, and maintain PC/Linux workstation and server hardware
• Ability to cover out of hours support for the studio during busy periods
