14 days ago
Audio Software Engineer
Ripple Effect, an evolution of Battlefield's DICE LA, is a Los Angeles-based game studio on a mission to build community-first experiences through continuous innovation and boundary breaking technology.
Our Ethos: We value how ideas take shape - in a conversation, a prototype, a dream. Inspiration flows through our studio, homes, and minds. With one drop of inspiration, the idea begins to spread and the smallest idea quickly grows to something bigger than us. That's by design. As with our games, we are advancing the industry - one idea at a time. We are Ripple Effect.
Our Values: We believe in an honest and transparent environment, where developers grow in our crafts. We value bold risk-taking followed by excellence through iteration. We seek developers with diverse experiences who will enrich our studio creativity.
We are looking for an engineer like you to develop audio systems and tools. You will be the primary engineer working closely with our audio team, understanding their needs, and building technology to empower their creative work. You will be able to express your passion for audio and video games through your collaborative project work. There are also opportunities to contribute back to EA’s shared engine development, and learn from senior audio engineers at other studios.
- BSc in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of C++
- Shipped game titles with audio role, but will consider new grads with passion for audio
- Great collaborative skills that support an open working environment
We are proud of the great perks we offer like comprehensive health and benefit packages, tuition reimbursement, 401k with company match, and of course, free video games. And since we realize it takes world-class people to make world-class games, we offer competitive compensation packages and a culture that thrives on creativity and individuality.
As part of the application process we might ask you to perform a practical work test. Apply online with a resume.
