Job Description
In our Paris studio, you will join a team that works on one of our most famous brands for a new and still confidential AAA game. Within the Audio team, you will be in charge of the development and optimisation of all engine-related audio features.
In this context, your missions will include:
- Being the project's technical referent for sound integration, from the conception phase until the game ships and lives on,
- Integrate, maintain et optimise Wwise as the audio middle-ware for our proprietary game engine,
- Develop audio features in collaboration with game and sound designers, such as audio ray-tracing for next generation consoles,
- Develop engine plug-ins and user interfaces in collaboration with technical sound designers,
- Work as an evangelist for Gameplay Programmers and drive best practices regarding the audio codebase,
- Support audio bug finding and fixing.
Qualifications
- First experience in gameplay or engine programming in the video games industry or other relevant programming experience (audio-related),
- Good knowledge of C++: Object Oriented language features, memory management, concurrent programming using threads and synchronization, design patterns,
- Good musical ear and a keen interest for audio in general,
- Ability to work with proactivity and autonomy,
- Team spirit
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English,
