Audio Producer

About the role

As an Audio Producer, you will be part of our Audio team supporting sound designers, audio directors, and music composers. You’ll be responsible for tracking, planning & coordinating deliveries within the Audio Team and you’ll report to the Head of Audio for assessment and resource planning, forecasting, and outsourcing coordination. You will also communicate with internal stakeholders such as Game Producers, Art Producers, and QA in our various Paradox Development Studios, as well as handle Marketing Creative requests, such as for the internal production of trailers.

The person we are looking for is confident with handling several tasks, and backlogs, and shifting focus from one project to the next, while maintaining a highly organized priority system to make sure each task gets done when it needs to. Your work will help create a confident workplace where all members of the team know what they need to do, as well as help shape the future development of our Audio Department.

Main Responsibilities

• Interface for both internal and external teams, ensuring & improving communication between Audio and Game/Marketing projects.
• Create forecasts and predictions on resources required with the input of the Audio Directors.
• Constantly and proactively seek to improve the production processes, tools, and pipelines for audio disciplines.

Requirements

• Experience working in a production-based role in the games industry
• Experience with outsourcing management, contracts, and setting up agreements
• Knowledgeable with SCRUM, Gaant Charts, and Agile methodologies
• Proficiency in Jira/Asana/Spreadsheets

Qualifications

On a personal level, you’re a proactive and organized individual, passionate about production. As a plus, you are passionate about sound design and game audio, as well as roughly knowledgeable of the stages game audio goes through from start to finish. Your experience allows you to identify issues and solve problems quickly and effectively. You understand the need for being detail-oriented and structured, and you are confident in your verbal and written communication skills to help you minimize the back and forth when dealing with requests and striving for efficiency.
