Audio Manager オーディオ事業部長

The Audio Localization Manager oversees the Tokyo Audio team and is responsible for all of Keywords audio production in Japan.. Also, the Audio Manager collaborates with the group Audio Localization Division as part of the Localization Service Line in defining and implementing local Audio strategy. The scope includes P & L management of the Audio Localization business, management of the recording facility, the audio team, and relations with customers and external stakeholders. The Audio Manager is also responsible for capacity planning through studio facility expansions or the development of local partnerships to support future business growth. The Audio Localization Manager reports to the global Audio Localization Division managers overseas and works closely with Tokyo Studio Management to contribute to the growth of Keywords group and Tokyo Studio.

オーディオ事業部長としてキーワーズ東京の提供するビデオゲーム用音声収録・音響制作ビジネス全般を管理する業務です。キーワーズグループのオーディオサービス部門（サービスラインと呼称します）の一員として、日本のオーディオ事業戦略を策定し実行します。業務範囲には、オーディオビジネス全般のP&Lの管理、キーワーズ東京の持つオーディオスタジオの管理、オーディオチームマネジメント、顧客マネジメント、外部ステークホルダーマネジメント、ビジネス拡大に伴うスタジオ規模の拡張などが含まれます。オーディオ事業部長は海外にいるオーディオ・ローカリゼーション・ディビジョンマネージャーにレポートし、東京スタジオマネジメントと密に協業しながら、東京スタジオの成長に貢献します。

Duties and Responsibilities ・職務及び責務

Operational オペレーション

• Build, in conjunction with the Text Localization Manager, the most compelling Localization offer for internal and external KWS clients who need to localize contents into Japanese
• Oversee all the activities of the Audio Team in the Tokyo Studio
• Monitor all ongoing Audio Projects and team workload
• Support PM Leads in the execution of projects
• Collaborate with Audio Localization Managers of other Studios in KWS to develop global Audio Localization solutions
• 翻訳部門マネージャーとともに、社内外のクライアントにハイレベルな日本語ローカライズコンテンツを提供する
• 東京スタジオの全オーディオローカライズビジネスを統括する
• 稼働中のプロジェクトのモニタリングを行う
• スムーズなプロジェクト進行の為のPMにサポートを行う
• 他のスタジオのオーディオマネージャーと協業しグローバルソリューションを作り上げる

Team Management チームマネジメント

• Set team and individual goals in agreement with the Audio Localization Division Management and give regular feedback to the team
• Provide leadership and mentoring in, project planning, resource forecasting and performance/personnel issues to all project managers.
• Attract and retain best talent inside of his/her department
• Ensure the Text and Audio Localization teams work as a single, unite time providing the most consist experience to clients localizing their contents into Japanese.

Financial Management ファイナンスマネジメント

• Ensure the department cost are on budget
• Create the Audio Localization forecast in a yearly basis with monthly updates supporting Financial Manager
• Regularly review margins of the Audio Localization department
• Analyze cost versus productivity
• バジェットに沿った部門のコスト運営をおこなう
• 部門の年間予測を作成し、ファイナンスマネージャとともに月度更新を行う
• 利益率の定期レビューを行う
• コストと生産性に関しての考察を行う

Client / Resource Management クライアント及びリソースマネジメント
• Establish and retain close relationship with our clients and external resources
• Work with BD team to increase Audio business opportunities
• クライアントおよびリソース（ベンダー）との良好な関係を築き、維持する
• ビジネスデベロップメントチームと協業しオーディオ事業の機会を拡大する

Strategy Implementation and workflow optimization 戦略の実行とワークフローの最適化
• Create Tokyo Audio Localization business strategy with Audio Localization Division management and Tokyo Studio Head, supported by KWS PMO/
• Collaborate to develop and integrate new process to improve and optimize the efficiency of the Audio Localization department workflow
• グループオーディオマネジメント及び東京スタジオマネジメント、更にPMOの協力を得て東京スタジオにおけるオーディオ事業戦略を策定し実行をリードする
• オーディオ事業の業務のワークフローを改善し効率化を図る

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in the Audio business
• Experience of and passion for the Audio business and Audio voice production
• Experience of expanding studio facilities and developing audio service offerings
• Experience working with voice actor agencies
• Very good written and verbal communication skills – in Japanese and English
• Management experience and leadership skills
• Knowledge of the gaming industry
• Problem solving approach and decision maker
• Analytical skills
• Knowledge of Audio production tools and workflows

• 音声収録・音響制作業務の経験
• オーディオビジネス拡大の経験、もしくはそれに対する強い意欲
• 声優事務所と協業の経験
• 高いコミュニケーション能力（日本語ネイティブレベル、英語ビジネスレベル）
• チームマネジメント経験、リーダーシップ
• ゲーム業界の知識もしくは強い興味
• 問題解決力、決定力、分析力
• 音声制作におけるツールやワークフローの知識
