Audio Designer - UK based Hybrid/Flexible

For 30 years we’ve been creating incredible video games at our multiple studios, but Rebellion is more than just games. We have our own film and mo-cap studio, we create board games, publish books, and through 2000AD, publish comics and graphic novels such as the amazing Judge Dredd.

We operate across multiple UK locations, with studios based in Oxford, Warwick, Liverpool and Wakefield. We are on the lookout for an Audio Designer to join our Audio Team supporting multiple AAA titles currently in development for all current and next-generation platforms, as well as other areas including Marketing, Film & TV where needed.

An essential member of a small collective, you will be taking on a very large responsibility of all the audio design output for the company. You’ll need to be artistically and technically sharp, and both a great team player and a lone-warrior. You’ll have a great arsenal of equipment, facilities, and software to aid you on the way!

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day audio design tasks, implementation, mixing and mastering for AAA games
• Dialogue editing
• Soundtracking marketing materials
• Attending meetings and keeping up to date documentation on work (where necessary)

Requirements

• Previously shipped at least one cross-platform AAA title, ideally seeing the project through the full development cycle
• Expert knowledge on one or more DAWs ideally including Cockos Reaper
• Expert knowledge on audio design and processing techniques, and a range of plugins and equipment that helps achieve the best results in both
• Passionate about gaming and game development, with a keen sense of hearing
