What We Need
The Cinematic Sound Designer is responsible for creating and integrating sound design and voice elements into Cinematic sequences, helping refine the audio workflows and tools, and deliver on the Cinematic Director’s and Audio Director’s vision for an ambitious AAA narratively driven FPS project full of character and personality.
What You Will Do
- Concept, create and integrate interactive and linear sound design in Wwise and UE4
- Mix and master audio assets and systems
- Design and script audio control logic
- Work closely with other disciplines to improve workflows, optimize asset pipelines and achieve the vision for the game cinematics
- Participate in the preparation and development of voice content for Performance Capture sessions
- Attend Voiceover and MoCap sessions in-house or in external studios.
- Collect and organize the available data (Mocap recordings, studio recordings, ADR, robo-voice, etc..)
- Debug, maintain and ensure the final product quality
Who We Think Will Be A Great Fit
- 1 AAA/Major title shipped in a Sound Design role or 2 years of experience on a AAA/Major project
- Solid organizational and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Proficiency with Wwise
- Proficiency with UE4
- Experience with audio scripting
- Understanding of theoretical and practical audio engineering principles & techniques.
- Knowledge of DAWs such as Pro Tools and Reaper, as well as sample editors and plug-ins
- A passion for making games
- A portfolio of work that demonstrates these qualities
