Audio Artist - SFX/Music

Role Overview

EA Create Audio is looking for an experienced Audio Artist who can make an immediate contribution to all aspects of audio development for our team. You have experience in all phases of audio design and production, with proficiency in every key component – sound design, music, speech and implementation. You will work within the EA Create Audio team and must have the ability to collaborate with all other aspects of game development (i.e. Art, Animation, Engineering, Design, Production, Marketing) to push the quality bar for game audio. You will have a passion for video games, with an overwhelming desire to create an outstanding audio experience.

Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with team partners and EA Audio Create team members at all levels
2. Audio creative design in line with the vision and goals of the title(s)
3. Sound design and implementation
4. Speech implementation
5. Music mastering / editing / implementation
6. Quality control review of project(s)
7. Audio post production for in-game video content
8. Take direction from the Audio Director and other more senior audio artists on a project, but still express your creativity and ideas in an open and constructive manner.

Requirements

1. Five years game audio experience
2. Have a broad experience using game development tools, technology and pipelines
3. Is an expert with modern audio creation equipment, software and recording techniques, with a high level of proficiency in at least one DAW
4. Solid knowledge of PC and console audio hardware
5. Outstanding sound design skills
6. Good creative and technical thinker
7. Work well as part of a team
8. Skills in the area of technical implementation of game audio
9. Skills artistic and creative sensibilities
