The Diablo team is looking for a skilled 3D Level Designer with experience building environments using Unity, Unreal or other similar 3D level-building tools. Level Designers need to be able to build fun and exciting environments that look and play excellently.

Responsibilities

• Build vast gameplay spaces by sculpting terrain and using a mix of greyblock and real assets.
• Collaborate with other designers and artists to build compelling gameplay spaces.
• Give feedback and constructive critiques of the work of peers.
• Gather feedback and translate it into iterative improvements.
• Support gameplay vision by participating in ideation and presenting blockouts to the team.
• Work through technical problems and develop solutions
  

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience doing Level Design work
• Familiarity with level design theories and practices
• Experience with any proprietary terrain sculpting tool (Unreal, Unity, Maya, etc)
• Experience planning layouts in Illustrator, Photoshop, or other similar applications
• Ability to maintain a positive demeanor in a highly collaborative and iterative team environment
  

Pluses

• Making content in any genre that uses an isometric camera
• Artistic eye, capable of crafting phenomenal visual compositions
• Experience in Pipeline development and Process improvement
