Rockstar Games is seeking an Associate UI/UX Designer to be based in our NYC headquarters.
The ideal candidate is a multi-disciplinary designer with very strong design skills and a deep understanding of the advantages and limitations of digital media to create experiences that are cutting-edge, aesthetically stunning, user-friendly, and highly functional. This person will collaborate with other designers, developers, and producers across departments, and enjoy working in a fast-paced work environment with an attention to detail and innovative thinking.

- The Digital Marketing team partners with teams across all of our publishing and development studios worldwide to build engaging web experiences for our players.
- Our UI/UX Designers drive the creation and constant improvement of our websites, leveraging research and expertise to solve problems for our users and identify opportunities for improvement.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create best-in-class experiences for large-scale websites, applications, and other digital products.
- Design reusable and scalable UI components that can be used across multiple different products.
- Collaborate with a team of designers to evolve and refine the visual language of our brands and products.
- Work closely with a team of developers to bring your designs to life, ensuring visual accuracy, effectively communicating feedback, and helping to work through issues as they come up.
- Approach design from a user’s perspective, listening to users and balancing their needs alongside business goals and technical capabilities.
- Effectively communicate ideas and design decisions to colleagues, stakeholders, and cross-functional partners.
- Utilize a range of different tools to articulate your ideas and bring them to life as prototypes.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proficient in modern design and prototyping tools (Figma, Sketch, Principle, Framer, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Refined visual design skills and sensibilities.
- Attention to detail and care for design execution.
- Solid understanding of responsive web best practices and limitations.
- Experience contributing to and utilizing a design system.
- Ability to multi-task and solve problems.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, fluid environment.
- Team-oriented with the ability to effectively communicate, provide feedback and inspire teammates.
PLUSES

- Design-related BA/BFA.
- Ability to learn new software/technologies quickly.
- A love of video games, film, and entertainment.
- Smart, conceptual, confident, competent, adaptable, proactive, and results-oriented.
