Associate Tools Programmer

CCP is seeking a full-stack developer to join our talented Player Experience Team!

You will be collaborating with creative people in the computer games industry in our beautiful new studio in Reykjavík, Iceland. In this position you will utilize a broad spectrum of skills including front-end development, mid-tier business logic and integration with a variety of high-volume data services.

Your tasks:

• Develop and maintain a wide variety of applications including internal and customer facing services & websites, web services, APIs, data feeds, internal tools and back-end systems
• Communicate and interact with stakeholders to evaluate their needs then propose and develop solutions
• Work both independently and collaborate as part of a team on applications that support a variety of live and developing products
• Implement and maintain CI/CD workflows (e.g. GitLab, Kubernetes, Docker)

Your profile:

• 1-3 years of work experience as a software developer
• B.Sc in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent training and professional experience
• Programming and debugging skills in Python
• Experience working with web technology such as HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Django etc.
• Knowledge working with relational databases and SQL
• An ability to collaborate in a small team and a mindset for independent problem solving
• You deliver clean, readable and maintainable code
