We are looking for an Associate Systems Administrator who is excited to be a key contributor to our team. This role will work to manage and improve the company’s technical infrastructure and provide support to end users at all levels.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, anticipates problems, and takes initiative with little guidance, all while maintaining a positive attitude.
Responsibilities:
- Engage in desktop and helpdesk support efforts, making sure all desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruptions.
- Serve as the first point-of-contact for users when they experience technical/IT issues.
- Gather information to define and diagnose issues; solve hardware and software issues and work with external vendors, if necessary.
- Install, upgrade, and monitor software and hardware.
- Record technical issues and solutions in Jira Service Desk.
- Create and maintain simple and step-by-step documentation for common user issues in Confluence.
- Maintain users/permissions in Active Directory.
Requirements & Skills:
- 1-3 years of professional experience in desktop support or database, network administration, or system administration experience, or comparable education.
- Administrative knowledge of Microsoft products including Azure/AzureAD, Office365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
- Demonstrated understanding of source control management/version control systems (Perforce, Git, Bitbucket, etc)
- Solid grasp of IT security principles. (Antivirus/malware, firewalls, EDR, DLP, etc)
- Understanding of IP Addressing, Local Area Subnetting, VPNs, and Virtual Machine Technology (Any hypervisor is fine.)
- Strong hardware and software troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent organizational skills, and adept at multi-tasking and prioritizing tasks with minimal direction.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and work with staff at all levels.
- Flexibility in working hours.

TNM considers a number of factors when determining each role's base pay range, including industry benchmarks, location, experience, and other job specific skills. In addition to base pay, this role may be eligible for other incentive compensation including equity and profit share. The estimated base pay range for this role is U.S. only and not applicable for locations outside of the U.S.
TNM offers competitive and comprehensive benefits that include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match, unlimited PTO, supplemental life and disability, and more. Eligibility to participate in these benefits may vary for part-time or temporary employees.
The estimated base pay range for this role is: $69,000 - $95,000
