We’re looking for all the best kinds of people to make great experiences for our players. Fulfilled employees want a job that inspires them, while giving them room to enjoy their lives. And we want to give them that. We celebrate diversity and inclusion by creating a place where you can come to work and be yourself.

And we want you to join us. We’re hiring an Associate System Owner.

You will be a part of EA’s Customer Experience (CE) organization. CE strives to make EA known for taking care of its players. We’re players taking care of players and people talking to people – whenever, wherever, and however they need us.

You will help build the technology and new ideas that make it possible for EA Customer Experience to provide unique player experiences. You will work with the IT group responsible for engineering and development and with partner groups within CE and EA to provide a streamlined, end-to-end support solution for both game teams and players. We are looking for an Associate System Owner experienced in the art of product ownership to join the Platform and Services team. The Associate System Owner owns the systems’ issues backlog, manages large-scale system updates and is an essential input to the road map definition process for products associated with their system. You will have varied responsibilities, reporting to the Manager of Systems and UAT.

So how does the Associate System Owner make great experiences for players? They:

o Operate as the business representative to IT development teams

o Serve as an expert for the assigned system(s) with multiple touch points and coordinating parallel efforts

o Transfer knowledge and empower the user acceptance team early on in the sprint planning process to ensure their input is provided and incorporated

o Use data and insights during the planning, prioritization and validation phases to emphasize the impact to the business

o Work with stakeholders to ensure they are familiar with the system backlog, sprint prioritization process and schedule

o Work with all stakeholders to ensure their needs and concerns are considered and addressed

o Help manage relationships with our vendors, internal partners, and stakeholders as the main contact for your system(s)

o Complete planned activities in a complex business environment with shifting needs and timelines

o Represent the business when working with the IT department during development

o Track, prioritize and groom system defects and their impact to the business

o Work with EA testing teams to ensure the creation and maintenance of comprehensive test cases

o Collaborate, as the expert for your system, on cross-functional projects delivered by the product management teams

o Listen to all of our product users to understand how they use their tools and systems

o Find and address product risks once in the production environment

o Establish measurable success criteria and metrics that we can use to track progress

o Maintain WWCE leadership reporting on important production outages, while partnering with the incident management and IT teams in mitigation and resolution strategies

o Ensure documentation on sprint schedules, reporting and associated variances are maintained and up-to-date

o Manage the sprint release notes creation and distribution

o Work with QA and UAT to ensure testing preparedness, documentation and reporting for your system

o Maintain accurate and consistent documentation, aimed at ensuring knowledge is not siloed or limited to one person or group
