Our team of talented developers is working on Diablo 4 and we need your help! Blizzard Entertainment is seeking a talented, motivated, associate or staff level character technical artist who has a passion for character rigging. You should have a strong grasp of rigging and skinning techniques, as well as being comfortable simulating cloth in Maya. You’ll need strong problem-solving skills to constantly support your work and that of other artists. Your work will be aligned to the needs of a production pipeline and teams we support. You will work collaboratively with other departments including modeling, game design, animation, concept, and VFX.

What you will doing

You’ll be responsible for creating and supporting the character rigs for Diablo 4. You’ll work with the art department to make sure character models are created properly and are ready to be rigged. You’ll work with the animation dept to create easy to use rigs that can support the creation of amazing, keyframed animated performances. When needed, you’ll create simulations for cloth and hair across a diverse set of characters and monsters. You’ll be expected to help streamline the content creation pipeline to help yourself and other artists work more efficiently. You’ll work hand in hand with other character technical artists, helping to mentor and guide you throughout the production.
