Associate Software Engineer, CAPPS

Blizzard Entertainment is seeking an enthusiastic Associate Software Engineer to join our Corporate Applications team. You will help build tools used every day at Blizzard for Game Production, Operations, IT, Human Resources, Finance, QA, Internal Communications, and more!

Our engineers are highly collaborative and create epic and efficient line of business applications used by Blizzard employees worldwide. They work closely to share knowledge and push the department forward by learning from each other’s successes and failures via group discussions, paired programming, mentoring, and adopting any technique that keeps us sustainably delivering quality software.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; or equivalent experience
• Passion to learn and grow as a software engineer
• Basic programming experience
• Ability to follow instruction and work in a highly collaborative team environment

Plusses

• Experience developing in one, or more, of the following (C#, Java, JavaScript, SQL)
• Experience working with and debugging code that you did not write
• Experience with public cloud providers
• Experience with automated testing
• Contributions to open-source or personal projects
• Experience with code versioning tools such as Git

* Irvine/Southern California is preferred but remote may be considered*
